• SPECIFICATION INFORMATION

  Construction

  The Curv series is constructed of heavy 20-gauge perforated steel with a 9-1/2" x 2-1/2" profile. The perforations measure 0.0625" in diameter and provide a 23% opening per square inch and have a white acrylic diffuser overlay. Fixtures are available with one or two T8, T5, or T5HO lamps. The exact shape of the housing is maintained by the use of an inner die cast plate at each fixture end. The housing is designed to wrap around the plate and secures on top with concealed screws to ensure housing tolerances are consistent. These die cast aluminum end caps and aligners provide zero tolerance alignment between fixtures, resulting in consistently straight rows with no snaking. The luminaire comes standard with a painted white steel reflector with specular inserts on the sides.

  Finish

  Housing and all painted parts are treated with a multi-stage phosphate prior to finish. Parts are then finished with a white RAL powder coat for maximum consistent coverage and longevity. Other colors may be specified.

  Mounting

  Curv’s contractor-friendly universal mounting system allows for installation into existing studs and spaces the fixture away from the wall 1/2" to allow for wall variations. Brackets on the back of the luminaire easily slip onto the mounting system. Leveling screws are the final touch for that perfect installation. A 1-3/4" x 3" cutout is provided in the unit to feed from junction box. A cover plate is used to shield the exposed junction box.

  Labels and Electrical

  All fixtures bear appropriate UL labels. Fixtures are prewired with small case electronic ballasts and are available in 120V, 277V, or 347V. All fixtures are wired for single circuit operation, but additional circuits can be supplied as an option by designating IBOB or LR switching.
