SPECIFICATION INFORMATION

Construction

The Indecon Louvered is constructed of heavy 20-gauge perforated steel with a 9-9/16" x 3-1/8" profile. Straight blade louvers are also constructed of 20-gauge steel, 24" in length, and painted white. Perforations on the housing and louvers measure 0.095" in diameter and provide a 23% opening per square inch. There is one louver for a 4' unit, two for an 8', and 3 for a 12' unit. Fixtures are available with one, two, or three T8, T5, and T5HO lamps. A unique angling method on the middle lamp minimizes the length of the fixture without affecting performance or operation. The exact shape of the housing is maintained by the use of an inner structural plate at each socket location. This plate is tabbed and welded into the housing, ensuring housing tolerances are maintained. Aligner fingers are standard on the plate enabling fixtures to be attached together in straight continuous rows without any snaking or twisting. Louvers are attached from above and cannot be removed without removing the reflector system. The louver provides 13% downlight when a three lamp system is used.

Finish

Housing and all painted parts are treated with a multi-stage phosphate bonding process prior to finish. Parts are then finished with a matte white RAL powder coat for consistent coverage and maximum durability.

Mounting

The Indecon Louvered is designed for ceiling suspension and is provided with an aircraft cable suspension mechanism. The cable has a total vertical adjustment of 1-1/4". A barrel at the end of the cable screws onto a standard 1/4 20 bolt brought down from the ceiling. Cover plates are provided to shield the ceiling cutout. A straight or optional coil cord is provided for feed locations. A feed canopy is provided for each feed location. All fixtures are suspended at 48" increments and must be supported at each fixture housing end.

Labels and Electrical

All fixtures bear appropriate UL labels. Fixtures are prewired with small case electronic ballasts and are available in 120V, 277V, or 347V. All fixtures are wired for single circuit operation but additional circuits can be supplied as an option.
