SPECIFICATION INFORMATION

Construction

Maxim is constructed of heavy 20-gauge steel in a very compact 6-9/16" x 2-7/16" housing. Fixtures are available with one, two, or three T5 or T5HO lamps. The special length of the lamp allows all fixtures to be hung on 48" modular increments. Fixtures are available in 4', 8', and 12' lengths. The exact shape of the housing is maintained by the use of an inner structural plate at each socket location. The plate is tabbed and welded into the housing ensuring housing tolerances are consistent. Aligner fingers are standard on the plate enabling fixtures to be attached together in straight continuous rows without misalignment between fixtures. End caps are made of 16-gauge steel construction and attach with nuts and bolts. The luminaire comes standard with a painted white steel reflector with specular sides. A high efficiency reflector (HRF) option is constructed of specular anodized aluminum and allows for wide distribution with maximum efficiency.

Finish

Housing and all painted parts are treated with a multi-stage phosphate bonding process prior to finish. Parts are then finished with a matte white RAL powder coat for consistent coverage and maximum durability.

Mounting

The Maxim is designed for ceiling suspension and is provided with an aircraft cable suspension mechanism. The cable has a total vertical adjustment of 1-1/4". A barrel at the end of the cable screws onto a standard 1/4 20 bolt brought down from the ceiling. Cover plates are provided to shield the ceiling cutout. A straight or optional coil cord is provided for feed locations. A feed canopy is provided for each feed location. All fixtures must be supported at each fixture joint.

Labels and Electrical

All fixtures bear appropriate UL labels. Fixtures are prewired with small case electronic ballasts and are available in 120V, 277V, or 347V. All fixtures are wired for single circuit operation, but additional circuits can be supplied as an option by designating IBOB or LR switching.
