A+Class Commissioning Templates

An A+CLASS® control template is a series of control commissioning settings ready for upload to the A+CLASS® CCM using the A+CLASS® SD Card. Control Templates are exported from the A+CLASS® Template Builder or downloaded from the web as pre-configured Templates. All A+CLASS® Control Templates use a configuration file with the extension .cfg.

There are three ways to use A+CLASS® Control Templates:

  1. Specify A+CLASS® controls. These settings can be verified after installation has occurred by printing the installed configuration file.
  2. Provide Certified Factory Technicians (CFTs) with base templates for control scenarios
  3. Change existing A+CLASS® commissioning control scenarios. File must be transferred to the SD card for A+CLASS® System upload.

For specification purposes the Template may be called out by name in specification documents (example: 2R30WNNS), attached or copied into an electronic document as text, or sent as an e-mail to the appropriate party for inclusion in specification documents as a ‘live’ template for the CFT to install.

Important Daylighting Notes

Whenever Daylighting is included as a function of the A+CLASS® system, the Certified Factory Technician, (commissioning agent) will be required to perform a few lighting measurements in the actual classroom prior to finalizing the data. This is because the amount of light entering the space requires a true measurement to confirm or replace the standard system Daylighting settings.

If the Template Builder is used, the Daylighting selections include visualization tools to approximate potential energy savings across each participating Daylighting zone; no guarantee of performance is implied or stated.
